The Town of Elberta Planning Commission recorded two formal actions on April 16. First, the commission approved the March 19, 2026 minutes after a motion from Member Steve Kirkpatrick and a second from Doug Hayes; Vice Chairman Randy Kurtts abstained. Second, the commission voted to forward a rezoning request for 24701 State Street from R-1 to GB with a positive recommendation to the Town Council after a motion from Barnett and a second from Mayor Steve Kirkpatrick.
