The superintendent recommended and the board approved agreements with Youngstown State (student teachers) and Kent State (College Credit Plus) as well as contracts with LearnWell and an outsourced speech-language pathology (SLP) provider. The superintendent said the district had been "looking for an SLP almost all year unsuccessfully, so we need to outsource this so that we can meet the needs… of our kids."
