Public works and parks staff briefed the council on several local infrastructure projects and grant efforts. Staff said they are working with regional partners to fill sidewalk gaps on Sycamore, Magnolia and Fairview; they described a $25,000 grant to relevel ball fields and improve backstops at the fairgrounds; and reported completion of a boat-ramp lighting project using material repurposed from FEMA-related work.
