County Manager Thomas Weaver told the board that, despite work to clear prior years' filings, Chattahoochee County remains listed as non‑compliant in the state's notice because historic audits remain outstanding. "We got those that were behind, we initially met compliance, but then we, in the process of working, we have gotten uncompliant," Weaver said during the May 5 session, adding the county has scheduled a kickoff meeting to hasten completion and that he is "100% confident by the end of the year that we'll be compliant."
