The commission appointed Crystal Terry to the Clay County Developmental Disabilities Resource Board (DDRB) after Terry described personal and professional reasons for seeking the post. Terry introduced herself to the board: "I am ... a mother of 3. My daughter has Down syndrome... I want to be an advocate for my daughter and people with disabilities," she said.
