Board adopts routine resolutions: final-plat approval, mileage rate update and Law Day proclamation
At the April 28 meeting the Board signed three resolutions: 2026-0051 approving the Cappro Holdings final plat, 2026-0052 adopting the federal mileage reimbursement rate ($0.725/mile) effective July 1, 2026, and 2026-0053 proclaiming May 1, 2026 as Law Day and accepting a commemorative flag and certificate from the Iowa State Bar Association.

During the meeting packet the Board recorded three resolutions. Resolution 2026-0051 approves the Final Plat of Cappro Holdings Subdivision (parcel 1511300010) as submitted. Resolution 2026-0052 sets the county mileage reimbursement rate to the Federal Standard Mileage Rate ($0.725 per mile as of Jan. 1, 2026) effective July 1, 2026 and allows the rate to automatically adjust with future federal changes. Resolution 2026-0053 designates May 1, 2026 as Law Day in Dallas County and accepts a certificate and American flag from the Iowa State Bar Association to be flown at the courthouse.
