Commission asks staff to explore refurbishing Community Park workout equipment
The commission voted 6-0 to explore refurbishing several pieces of workout equipment at Community Park after Public Works refreshed some components; commissioners noted bench components need additional work and replacement parts may extend equipment life.

During discussion of Community Park priorities on Aug. 3, commissioners agreed to pursue both resurfacing the basketball court and investigating refurbishment of the park’s workout equipment. The commission voted unanimously to request that staff explore refurbishing the existing equipment.
