Board adopts countywide consolidated donation policy unanimously
The County Board unanimously approved Policy Resolution 4, which standardizes acceptance, approval thresholds, risk review and transparency for county donations, after a second-reading motion from Supervisor Gence.

Supervisor Gence moved and the board voted to adopt Policy Resolution 4, the second-reading vote on a countywide consolidated donation policy recommended by the Finance & Administration Committee. Gence said the policy "tightens up our our countywide donation policy," establishing consistent rules for accepting donations, approval thresholds, financial risk review safeguards and increased transparency and accountability.
