Board reviews gatehouse and monument plans; CIP changes could require ~$2.5M loan
Staff presented a revised Long Range Plan showing monument replacements ($250,000 est.) and gatehouse renovation estimates (FY2026 $615,775; FY2027 $407,240). Mr. Long said the CIP change will necessitate a loan of approximately $2.5 million; staff will submit permits to the Village of Estero.

District and project staff reviewed a revised Long Range Plan for Pelican Sound gatehouse and monument work. Charlie Krebs will submit permit applications for monuments and gatehouses to the Village of Estero; the Village has already approved the stormwater management permit and the South Florida Water Management District approval is pending.
