At its Aug. 4, 2026 meeting, the Streets, Buildings & Utilities Committee discussed hiring a Building Inspector for the City of Markesan and directed staff to prepare a job announcement. Committee member Slate moved that "Todd prepare a job description for newspaper add," and Abentroth seconded; the motion carried.
