The Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously approved a setback variance for Scott Randolph’s property at 8722 State Road 135 South (Freetown, Van Buren Township) after reviewing the staff report and photos provided. Planning Director Kayla Robertson read the staff report; Randolph said the south side of the property is low and stays wet and that his contractor advised against siting the building there.
