Council voted to authorize a contract with Atlas Planning Solutions to prepare an update to Gridley’s safety element. Staff said the safety element update is mandated and ties to the housing element; Atlas submitted proposals spanning roughly $60,000 to $125,000 but the recommended contract was for $50,000 with authority for the administrator to approve up to 10% in amendments for flexibility.
