Juvenile Center construction update: design moves forward; estimates ~5% above $14M budget

Mitchell Fendler, general manager with NABL's Construction, told the commission the Juvenile Center project has reached the end of design development and that more detailed construction drawings will move into the construction documents (CD) phase. He said the team has taken drawings to local market partners for courtesy pricing and that those early reviews put the project roughly 5% over budget compared with the county’s $14,000,000 target: "we're sitting about 5% up."
