Cole County commissioners unanimously appointed Scott Englund to two regional planning posts and approved two appointments to the Onsite Wastewater board during their Sept. 2 meeting; all motions were made by Commissioner Jeff Hoelscher and seconded by Commissioner Harry Otto.

The Cole County Commission unanimously approved four appointments on Sept. 2, 2025. Commissioner Jeff Hoelscher moved to appoint Scott Englund as the CAMPO Small City Representative and to the Mid-Mo Regional Planning Commission Board of Directors; both motions were seconded by Commissioner Harry Otto and recorded as passing with votes of Commissioner Sam Bushman (Yes), Commissioner Jeff Hoelscher (Yes) and Commissioner Harry Otto (Yes).
