Commissioners authorize landfill planning services and solicitation for microwave backup link
Board authorized Mannik & Smith for Phase 4 planning of the county landfill lateral expansion and directed solicitation of bids for a microwave radio link backup to fiber connections used by county/city IT systems.

The board approved two infrastructure items during its Sept. 3 meeting. Resolution #590 authorized entering into an agreement with Mannik & Smith Group, Inc., for planning and design services, including soil testing and document preparation, to initiate Phase 4 of the Hancock County Landfill Lateral Expansion Project. The motion passed by a 3-0 vote.
