Howland board accepts more than $8,000 in donations for programs and field trips
The board accepted cash and in-kind donations — including PTO gifts for field trips and $4,000 for computer desks — and recognized many Class of 2026 contributions for senior activities at its May 27 meeting.

The Howland Local Board of Education unanimously approved motion 26-118 to accept multiple donations for district programs and student activities. The gifts included $650 from the Howland Athletic Club toward 2026–27 student planners, PTO funding for field trips and wages/fuel expenses ($813.36 and $573.36), a $4,000 PTO donation for computer desks, a $250 contribution for teacher appreciation from Flash Appliance Repair, and numerous Class of 2026 donations for senior picnic and decor.
