Clay County Senior Services details programs that served thousands last year

Bob Steinkamp, chairman of the Clay County Senior Services Board, presented the board's annual report, summarizing services, partnerships and usage statistics. He said the board was created by county vote in 2003 and funds programs through a levy established at 5¢ per $100 assessed valuation. Steinkamp described the board’s mission to support transportation, personal emergency response devices, in-home services, care coordination and minor home repairs.
