Council amends purchasing code to remove exclusion of certain county authorities
On second reading the council approved an amendment to Ordinance No. 79–2026 removing a parenthetical exclusion of county authorities from Article 3, Section 1e of the administrative purchasing code; the ordinance as amended passed on roll call.

Erie County Council considered Ordinance No. 79–2026, which amends Article 3, Section 1e of the county’s administrative purchasing code. A councilor proposed deleting language that excluded county authorities from a parenthetical exception; that amendment was seconded and approved. The ordinance as amended was then moved, seconded and approved on roll call.
