Public Works Department Head James briefed the Board of Public Works on Sept. 8 about ongoing recovery and maintenance work following a recent tornado. He said utility reconstruction crews finished lateral work on 3rd Street, contractors are completing work at Clovis Park, and the city is considering patch repairs for 3rd Street rather than a full resurfacing because many properties still need rebuilding.
