The Chelsea City Council adopted Resolution #2026-28 on May 18, recommending approval of a Social District permit for Common Sense Operations, LLC, the operator of The Common Grill. Clerk Lyn Sebestyen explained that local approval is the first step before the business applies to the State Liquor Control Commission; because The Common Grill is already inside the mapped district, no changes to the district map were needed.
