Commission schedules backup hearing night for proposed data center regulations
The commission confirmed the Aug. 20 public hearing on proposed data center regulations and agreed to reserve Aug. 26 as a second hearing night and venue backup at staff’s request.

The Pottawatomie County Planning Commission discussed the proposed procedure for the Aug. 20 public hearing on data center regulations and tentatively reserved a second night in case additional time was needed. Chair Judd McCormack reviewed the hearing procedure and Planner Bridget Snow asked explicitly whether a second hearing night should be planned "so the venue can be reserved." The commission decided to reserve the facility for Aug. 26.
