County staff will publish a request for proposals for dispatch infrastructure and continue working with the state and FEMA to validate storm damage assessments that could qualify the county for federal assistance if eligible damages meet the approximate $80,000 threshold.

County staff (Chris) told commissioners the county will publish a request for proposals (RFP) for new dispatch network infrastructure; the board agreed to approve the RFP for public release. "I sent that document out, and I just wanted to make sure to get your guys approval and to make sure that there was nothing in that that would cause a problem with the county contracting," Chris said.
