A county public-safety official reported that four new CAD (computer-aided dispatch) PCs were being installed and that the department was recognized for excellence in training related to recently implemented software. To avoid a lapse in coverage the official said they extended a related contract for five years at an annual cost of $7,548 and sought the commission's blessing.
