The Person County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt a resolution committing the county to the National Association of Counties' Building Better Futures Spotlight, a program that asks counties to assess and strengthen supports for young people. Commissioner Royster framed the measure as a commitment to “assess our county's current investments, programs, and partnerships” and to share lessons with peer counties.
