The Board of Directors voted to authorize the general manager to enter a professional-services agreement with EKI Environmental & Water Inc. for engineering design and bid support for Hafen Bay Tank No. 2. Board members heard staff describe replacing an existing 1,500,000-gallon steel tank (1963) with a 3,000,000-gallon prestressed concrete tank and the consultant-team structure before approving the contract.
