The Brown County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 2026-21 amending the county zoning regulation to define and regulate Data Centers and Commercial Battery Energy Storage Facilities. The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Chairman Lucas Heinen and seconded by Commissioner William Pollock; the minutes record the motion as carried.
