Council approves consent agenda, adopts fee-index and budget-amendment resolutions

Milton’s council unanimously approved the general consent agenda (special-event permits, master plan, CDBG project and awards) and adopted two resolutions: using the consumer price index for annual utility-fee adjustments (Resolution 2026-15) and an FY2026 budget amendment (Resolution 2026-16).

Council unanimously approved the general consent agenda, which included special-event permits (Halloween block party, Love and Lights fundraiser, cottage vendors market), the city’s 25‑year vision and master plan (moved to consent), and an infrastructure CDBG improvement project. The council then adopted Resolution 2026-15 to use the consumer price index when establishing a schedule of utility fees and charges and approved Resolution 2026-16 to amend estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY2026 budget.
