Two students from Van High School asked the Van ISD Board of Trustees during the public comment period to allow graduating seniors to decorate their graduation caps. "We are asking you to be able to decorate a graduation cap," Cassidy Hall told trustees, arguing that cap decoration would let students display individuality and future plans and help "the quiet forgotten kids" feel noticed.
