The council voted to move into executive session to consult with staff, consultants or other individuals about pending or potential litigation. The motion cited "general provisions article 3 dash 3 0 5 b 8" as the statutory authority for the closed session; a councilor moved, a second was offered, and the chair put the motion to a voice vote: "Hearing that, all in favor, say aye. Aye. Opposed, same. Abstained. Motion carries."
