Dr. Wenzel told trustees the district's draft improvement plan rests on three core ideas: shifting central office to support principals as instructional leaders, building principal leadership capacity, and expanding teacher collaboration through PLCs. "So what we hope to show you is that there's great alignment between the mission and vision, the 5 commitments that are on the wall, the district improvement plan, school improvement plans, and teacher goals," he said.
