Chair Joanne Semanie opened the Aug. 13 meeting by moving to approve a shared Fire Chief/Emergency Manager contract between the towns of Charlemont and Rowe and to appoint Christopher Goodhind to a three-year term effective immediately through June 30, 2029. The motions passed unanimously, with the board recording votes of 3-0-0 for both actions.
