At the June 30 retreat, the Select Board discussed the scope and practice of liaison duties to other Town boards and committees. Members described the role as largely one of listening, relaying information, and reporting back rather than issuing direction; the Board emphasized mentorship of volunteer board members but sought clearer coordination so liaisons are not circumvented.
