The Point Venture Village Council voted on June 16 to be excluded from the Travis County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) FY2027–2029 requalification process and instructed staff to notify Travis County Health and Human Services by the June 22 deadline. Mayor Justin Hamilton explained the requalification is part of a HUD process for urban-county entitlement and said the county requested a council decision on participation.
