Avery County commissioners voted April 22 to select Land Resource Management as the engineering firm for Emergency Watershed Protection projects approved by the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Dennis Aldridge moved the selection and Wood Hall Young Jr. seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
