At the Aug. 20 meeting the board authorized the Mayor to sign TDOT‑approved signalization contracts following the bid award and approved surplus of the city’s old access‑control equipment, with staff directed to sell the items at auction. Commissioner Everett moved to approve surplus of the equipment, Commissioner Keith seconded, and the vote was unanimous.
