At its Sept. 30, 2025 special meeting, the Cleburne County Commission voted to offer the Human Resources Officer role to Emily Williams at Pay Grade 21, starting pay $22.25/hour, effective Oct. 2, 2025, with a three-month trial period to be reviewed in January 2026.

The Cleburne County Commission on Sept. 30, 2025 voted to offer the Human Resources Officer position to Ms. Emily Williams, naming the role a Pay Grade 21 position with starting pay of $22.25 per hour and an effective date of Oct. 2, 2025. Commissioner Terry Hendrix made the motion, which Commissioner Mark Truett seconded; the recorded supporters were Commissioners Hendrix and Truett and the motion passed.
