At its meeting the board approved multiple routine items on the agenda. Commissioners voted to purchase four 2025 Ford Explorer vehicles for the sheriff's department (lowest bid $182,000), approved the annual renewal agreement with the Heart of Georgia Regional Commission for DHS transports, set a $3,000 minimum bid for a tax‑sale parcel, and agreed to move the September meeting to Sept. 10, 2026.
