The board voted to authorize purchase of a corner parcel for $15,000 to secure right‑of‑way needed for a planned realignment of Gardai Road, Broadhurst Road and Hazel Lane so the county can obtain bids for construction. The chair said the board will acquire the property first so three fair estimates can be obtained before selecting a contractor.
