Burke County extends Ryland Environmental collection contract, expects multi-year reductions

Commissioners reviewed a negotiated contract-extension proposal with Ryland Environmental covering residential collection and hauling. Staff said the proposed change would extend the residential contract from September 2029 to September 2033 and reduce the household rate from $22.98 to $22.48 per month.
