The Levy Court opened the public hearing on ordinance LC 26‑10, a rezoning petition to convert a 1‑acre portion of a larger farm from AR (agricultural‑residential) to neighborhood business to legalize an existing farm antique and craft store. Property owner Joseph Taylor told commissioners the 125‑acre farm supports agritourism and that the store provides supplemental income to elderly vendors and helps stabilize the farm’s finances amid rising property taxes.
