Nelson County Fiscal Court adopted a resolution July 7 imposing a 12-month moratorium on acceptance, processing and approval of applications for data centers of any size within the county’s jurisdiction. Judge Hutchins read the resolution aloud and the court voted to adopt it after discussion; the motion passed unanimously.
