The St. Louis County Board approved a Health & Human Services proposal to partner with the University of Minnesota Extension on a regional, school-linked substance-use prevention effort. County staff described the plan as a three-year program with two regional Extension positions (one north, one south) and curriculum dollars retained by the county to support local school districts struggling with new education mandates.
