Wastewater plant upgrades and multiple repair projects move forward; Dempsey control panel installation scheduled
Operations reported progress on wastewater treatment improvements (Inez, Dempsey), control-panel and pump installations scheduled for Sept. 3, and multiple smaller repair jobs; the board approved project resolutions and continues coordination with contractors and KYTC for easements and permitting.

Toby reported that electrical work at Inez is complete and contractors are preparing for start-up and system design confirmation; he said Dempsey will receive a new control panel and two new pumps with work targeted to begin on September 3. Staff described progress on pump swaps, control-panel fabrication and chopper-pump upgrades to handle increased debris loads at certain plants.
