District reports sufficient progress on three accreditation improvement areas

District staff told the board accreditation reviewers flagged three improvement areas in 2024; the district presented artifacts showing sufficient progress and said no further action is currently required while it prepares for the 2029–30 engagement review.

Stephanie Dalton Faulk, director of district and school effectiveness, presented the district’s accreditation mid‑cycle progress report and said the 2024 accreditation review identified three improvement areas: supports for at‑risk students, expanded use of varied data to evaluate instruction, and greater opportunities for staff action research. "We have provided sufficient artifacts ... and because of that, we have received ratings in all 3 areas saying that no action is required," she said.
