The Colton School District board on Monday held a work session to translate previously approved board goals into an operational five‑year strategic plan built around four pillars: student success; staff culture and leadership; facilities maintenance; and community relations. The chair, opening the discussion, said the poster presented at the meeting was a draft to help the board “connect the pillars with the goals” and build measurable action items, not a document for immediate adoption.
