MnDOT District 8 outlines 2027–2031 highway projects affecting Pipestone County
MnDOT District 8 planning director Meghanie Sheffer reviewed the area transportation improvement program for Pipestone County: an unbonded concrete overlay and turn-lane widening on Highway 75 in 2029, mill/overlay and ADA improvements with five culvert replacements on Highway 30 in 2030, and a medium mill/overlay on Highway 75 in 2031; she noted committed vs. flexible TIP years.

Meghanie Sheffer, the District 8 planning director, presented the area's transportation improvement program and mapped projects in Pipestone County for 2027–2031. She identified the 2029 project on Highway 75 (south of Pipestone) as an unbonded concrete overlay with a turn-lane widening and described the 2030 work on Highway 30 from US 75 in Pipestone to 60th Avenue in Lake Wilson as a mill and overlay with ADA improvements and five box culvert replacements. A 2031 project on Highway 75 (Pipestone Creek to South Valley Street) was described as a medium mill and overlay.
