The Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for an accessory structure that will serve as an accessory dwelling unit in Spring Meadows. The planner explained why the existing structure requires a CUP: "the existing structure will become an accessory building when the primary house is built, and an accessory building exceeding 2,000 square feet requires a conditional use permit." Staff said it had reviewed the application for compliance and recommended approval.
