Public Works presented a request to award a progressive design-build contract for the Thurston County Waste & Recovery Center Reconfiguration project and to authorize the director to execute contract amendments for subsequent phases and unforeseen conditions. The department said the estimated contract top cost is $24,615,000, which is within an overall board-approved budget of $28,550,000 and will be funded by solid waste tipping fees.
