Consultants told commissioners the draft district framework uses character‑based names that align with the county—s growth plan. "The approach that we went with was keeping these districts the same in terms of the number ... but then we had standards vary based on the applicable growth area," Nicole Campbell said, adding that the goal is to reduce rezonings and clarify expectations for developers and administrators.
