Members identified entries in the RR2 (rural residential) principal-use table — including solid-waste transfer stations, salvage yards, viticulture and adult-oriented businesses — and asked staff whether those uses should be permitted in low-density zones.

A committee member reading the draft told colleagues the RR2 district language in the draft allows a broad set of uses, and several members raised concern about specific entries in the principal-use table. "If you look at the RR2 back on in the use standards in the tables... it's permitted use for cemeteries, monoleum or crematory, ... hospital, place of worship, post office, public clubhouse..." the member read from the document to illustrate the breadth of permitted uses.
